今までの地球儀と言えば
地名が書いてあったりを自分でクルクルまわしながら
この国はこんな所にあったんだとか
こんな形してたんだ
日本ってこんな所にあるんだと
ワクワクしながらいつか世界に行ってみたいと
胸を弾ませて眺めていたものですが、
最近の地球儀は大人も子供も楽しめて
インテリアにもなりそうな地球儀があります
それは、学研から発売されている「ワールドアイ」という
地球儀です
ワールドアイは電源を必要とするのですが
半球体のモニーターに地球を映し出して
ゆっくり画像が回転し雲も合わせて動き出します
これだけでもすごいのですが
月にも火星にも木星にも金星にもなるばかりか
星座や太陽系や銀河系の様子を映し出すこともできます
教育的な所だと、地震の分布とか大陸移動・人類分布・森林減少なども
リアルに感じることのできる学習ツールです
実物を見ていると本当に吸い込まれそうになってしまうくらいです
子供に一味違うギフトと考えているならこれはかなりお勧めですよ
